Rice Pudding

 I love Rice Pudding – but the stuff from the tin makes me feel guilty. A bit like buying pre-boiled rice. Not that I had ever bothered to cook it myself until this weekend. I was cooking it for Eddie, and ended up eating quite a bit myself.

Perfect for winters evenings and easily “mastercheffed” with a few extras (improvise darling, improvise). 

  • Butter to grease dish

  • 1 pint full milk

  • 2oz pudding rice

  • 2 tbs caster sugar

  • Vanilla pod 

  • Grease dish. Stick in all the ingredients. Cook 2 hours 150c.

That’s it. 

p.s. Eddie hated it. Grrr.
